| Sumario: | Considering the forms of appearance and annunciation of peripheral people in Brazilian cinema, this work aims to understand how the work of Adirley Queirós make new arrangements between the visible and the speakable, capable of assimilate, at the same time, the peripheral space and the words spoken by who experience it. Therefore, we propose to investigate the film Is the city one only? (2011), made around the universe of Ceilândia, satellite city and periphery of Brasília/DF. Attentiveespecially to the materiality of filmic writing, we are interested in understanding the various uses of the word on the scene, as well as the conformations of the peripheral space caught on camera frameworks and in the way it is inhabited by the characters |
