Sumario:The article addresses the theme of fascism in contemporary times, based on the elements of anti-Semitism described by Adorno and Horkheimer in 1947 and through the empirical evidence that currently marks the adhesion of Brazilian society to authoritarian and extremist movements. The issue of Fake News is taken as an object of analysis of a process that has been increasingly worrying, both in terms of the significant number of people, who contribute decisively to its dissemination, and in terms of the composition of the resistance forces established by society. in the face of the danger that such news represents to democracy, to the formation of society, to the future of humanity and the planet, as a whole.
