| Sumario: | This study aims to reflect on the challenges of Brazilian public policies in the adaptation of African migrants in Brazil, taking into account the agreement between Brazil and African Portuguese-speaking countries (PALOP). The methodology adopted a qualitative approach with exploratory objectives, which used for data collection the bibliographic and documentary surveys, as well as content analysis for organization and classification of materials. The results pointed out that the challenges imposed on the Brazilian government regarding the adaptation of these immigrants are numerous and are related to the legal, economic, social and cultural aspects, such as: insertion in the formal labor market, bureaucratic dysfunction (REDTAPE), legalization by the federal police, insertion in the federal government's unique CAD, public policies in the area of health (female), and education. Faced with these public problems, the Brazilian government has sought partnerships with other actors, such as the National Committee for Refugees (Conare) and the International Organization for Immigrants (IOM) to try to ease the situation of these African migrants and facilitate their adaptation. |
