| Sumario: | This paper is dedicated to investigate LGBT museology as a conceptual category (BAPTISTA, BOITA, WICHERS, 2020). The academic paper is organized on a theoretical basis, highlighting the existence of a specific temporality of the LGBT Movement with the museological field, especially considering the achievements obtained from the social museology movement, identifying synchronicities and confluences between both, as well as points of contact that make it possible to understand and suggest an LGBT historicity in Brazilian museology, identifying the processes that led to the construction of concepts, practices and specific characteristics. |
