| Sumario: | The main objective of the NUTRIEXTENSÃO extension project was to provide academics with an activity that would contribute to their training with the practical articulation of scientific knowledge from teaching and research and the needs of the community where the university is located in the city of Criciúma/SC. Nutrition consultation, waiting room and food and nutrition education activities were carried out between October and December 2022. Food and nutrition education materials were developed during the project period, helping with the proposed practices. The project was effective in bringing the academics closer to the community, developing skills in different areas of activity for the future profession. Developing extension projects is extremely important to insert students into new realities and enable them to enter the job market in a broad and dynamic way. It is important to highlight the importance of more projects that include a broad view of nutrition for the training of generalist undergraduate students in Nutrition. |
