Synthesis of acyl derivatives under phase transfer catalysis conditions.
The synthesis of esters, thiol esters and anhidrydes, obtained from the corresponding substituted benzoic acids, under phase transfer catalysis is reported. The reactions easily proceed in the presence of tetrabutilamonium hidroxide a catalyst at room temperature, providing high yielding products.
