Sumario:The paper presents the process of building a data panel and indicators called “Direct Money to School Program (PDDE) and school financial management in Brazil”, bringing data from a national survey carried out with 1,744 subjects from schools from all federated entities. The discussion presents theoretical-methodological aspects that indicate proposals for monitoring and (re)constructing PDDE indicators, with a specific focus on the PDDE's Decentralized Management Performance Index (IdeGES-PDDE).
