| Sumario: | The search for alternatives to make classes more creative and motivating for the student has become a challenge to teachers. Educational technology, with its variety of tools, emerges as a viable and effective path to a new conception of teaching and learning in the 21st century. Students are born and are familiar with ICTs, being very comfortable with technological tools. As a result, schools are increasingly betting on this new technological scenario, joining the pedagogical and digital tools. Mixed reality is a blend of virtual reality and augmented reality, bringing new ways to mediate school teaching, and being innovative and stimulating alternatives to classroom learning. The objective of the study is to discuss and reflect on how a technological tool can enable more significant learning for students and teachers. The methodology is based on bibliographic research, with a qualitative data approach, based on studies and reflections of the authors. It was concluded that MR in education enables pedagogical innovations and favors communication between teachers and students, by presenting dynamics and highlighting students' realities, allowing participants to feel encouraged to seek knowledge, being rewarded by your dedication. |
