Sumario:The aim of this study was to understand the relationships established between initial training (first cycle) and research / research, starting with interviews with teachers and managers in Portuguese universities. The perception of the actors about this movement helps us to glimpse constituent elements of the processes involved in the curricular changes. It is concluded that the Bologna Process marked Europe and the world with the robustness of more condensed formative proposals that gave quick responses to the professional demands of society, which caused questions to arise about the scientific maturity of the masters and doctors formed by the unfolding of this process and about the methodological fragility absorbed by first cycle professionals.
