| Sumario: | The housing deficit is still part of the brazilian reality. However, the My House My Life and the National Rural Housing Program (PNHR) were created with the objective of reducing this deficit and stimulating the socioeconomic development of the low-income population. In Anagé, interior of Bahia, the project was built through the PNHR, which benefited twenty one families. Through a case study and exploratory-descriptive research, this article aims to analyze the challenges faced by the Association of Small Farmers of Southwest Bahia (APASBA), responsible for the management and execution of the project. The data for analysis were collected through forms to the beneficiaries of the Project and interviews directed to the managers of APASBA, entity organizing the Project. The results showed that the municipal government did not offer the necessary conditions for the implementation of the project, although it was completed and benefited twenty one families. |
