Resumo:This article aims to present the view of Brazilian judiciary on the homeschooling subject, analyzing the case of four families who have been affected by judicial process after decision to withdraw their children from school and teach them at home. Highlight the emphasis that is given to the school as an institution promoting not only academic knowledge, but also as a space for socializing and training for citizenship, fundamental themes for the homeschooling remains considered forbidden in Brazil.
