Descripción
Sumario:This article establishes relations between written press, Brazilian military dictatorship, politics and charge production. Specifically, it presents data referring to charge gathering, conveyed in O Lampião da Esquina newspaper, between 1978 and 1981. In the text, we see charge as a material produced to make humor and, mainly, as a political action instrument in the resistance against the Brazilian military regime. Among the obtained results, we have selected sixty - four charges published in that periodic. Giving the impossibility of analyzing all of them, we focused ou r work on three charges related to that national political scenario. With this study, therefore, we hope to highlight the need of paying attention to the different dimensions of  political practice of resistance against the Brazilian military regime.
