| Sumario: | The aggregation of the so called Web 2.0 technologies to the materialized services in the great institutions websites and portals is causing an enormous impact, particularly on the level of service conceptions, marketing and social learning.In a traditional sector such as the library’s, but alsowithin the universities progressive environment, how are this concept and this resource being adopted by portuguese academic libraries?Applying case study methodology and using bibliographic revision in order to identify platforms and web 2.0 products, an analysis grid of the portuguese academic and libraries websites has been made, where are covered some platforms of publication, discussion, sharing, relation, aggregation and collaboration, that can be analyzed trough their access, participation and contents edition, whether they are made exclusively by the institution, or by own users.Based on the analysis it was possible to conclude that portuguese academic libraries have not adopted completely this kind of platforms, despite all potentialities that can come from themin terms of development of collective inteligence. |
