| Sumario: | The objective of the study was to analyze the distribution of rural credit resources among the Federation Units, between 2013 and 2022. For this, data related to the number of contracts, amount accessed and distribution of access in the Brazilian territory regarding Rural Credit were statistically analyzed. Total, PRONAF and PRONAMP. The information was obtained through the Rural Credit Matrix of the Central Bank of Brazil for the period under analysis, and the financial values variable were deflated by the annual National Consumer Price Index (INPC) of the IBGE, which represent the values constant for the year 2022. As a result, there was a scenario of significant increase in the amount of rural credit in some years of the analyzed period, and at the same time that the unequal distribution of rural credit between the states persists. The total number of contracts in the period was over 20.9 million, the financial amount exceeded 1.8 trillion and the average value of total rural credit contracts increased from R$ 61 thousand in 2013 to approximately R$ 149 thousand in 2022. Thus, there is a need to rethink public credit policies for the rural environment, especially with regard to geographic coverage and sustainable forms of production. |
