| Resumo: | This paper invites us to learn about the experiences of a migrant childhood in contexts of agricultural work related to sugar cane cutting. San Silverio el Cedral, Tuxtepec, Oaxaca-Mexico, becomes the scene of uneven soils to solve the needs as migrant day laborer families in the 2021 – 2022 cycle of sugar cane production in the Papaloapan Region. Facing the question: What are the experiences of migrant children in the search for life fulfillment ? The intention to understand with the heart -to heart-to find each other in feeling and thinking-, to listen and dialogue about their realities-truths, their hopes and their utopias through the stories, their transfers and the new territories when they arrive at the camp, their insertion into the operative structure of work and child life, recognizing their feelings, thoughts, their intergenerational relationships and with each other, their reflections, their looks, voices and knowledge as migrant children who culturally resignify spaces by creating other geographies. Thus their actions are contextualized within the relations of capitalist agricultural production. Infants as active social actors, who resist and create from the facticity of their proposals and demands. Intensive fieldwork is developed, being there, by using different methodological procedures, including graphic representation as a means of dialogue, what we call drawing-story-interview as a device for the encounter with childhood. |
