| Resumo: | Abstract Women’s lives experiences are evoked through their portraits and their visual traces over time. Grandmothers, caregivers, travelers, dreamers, separated by time, by space, and from distinct families in Ceará-Brazil cities. We follow their paths through the images that they left us as legacy. Ingold’s interwoven lines and their living flows, Assmann’s memory movements, Susan Sontag, Barthes and Didi-Huberman’s reflections on photographs, allow us to look at these women’s trajectories and unveil what they left behind through images and listen to the intimacies of their familiar settings, as well as marks of places where they have tarried. In Tereza’s footprints, in Juvandyra’s albums, in which Helena appears, and in Mirtes’ travels, we go through remnants of their memories that do not allow us necessarily to unravel the completeness of their lives, however they bind us with their biography’s collectiveness, and even without knowing one another, these women resemble each other in the vestiges of what we can see.
