| Sumario: | We approach the narratives about Poço da Draga in Fortaleza-CE from photographic albums. We start from the discussions of Certeau (2009); Gagnebin (2006); Assmann (2011) and Bruno (2013). The Group of Research Rastros Urbanos (Urban Traces), through the Outreach Project “Photobiographies: the Fortaleza that is found in Personal Photographic Collections”, develops studies that aim to show and share these different narratives about the city. Poço da Draga is in an area of great real estate speculation near Iracema beach and is constantly suffering the pressure of public and private sectors for the relocation of its residents. By visiting the homes of inhabitants of this neighborhood, we listen to their stories and learn about their memories. The photographs allow us to know these individual biographies, and to connect them to the collective biography of the city, rethinking the reflections on urban anthropology, as well as opening a living and powerful space for a university outreach initiative. |
