| Sumario: | This paper presents aspects of the professional trajectories of some Brazilian and foreign female researchers who worked in the field of ethnological studies in the mid-twentieth century in Brazil, and stablished different connections with museums in the country, gathering collections and producing studies under the supportof these institutions. The analysis of these experiences may contribute to a greater understanding onwomen’s participation in institutions and disciplines and on the historical development of scientific practices inthe country. |
