Although the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa are not crucial in its expansion strategy, they have gained priority in the design of its foreign policy and are presented as one of its action scenarios in the dispute for global leadership. Likewise, the technological dimension gained undisputed prominence within the framework of the Revolution 5.0 and the global hegemonic transition. Sub-Saharan Africa in general and Kenya in particular account for this process in which technological infrastructure projects highlight the Asian presence on the continent.En la primera década del siglo XXI se produjeron cambios en el orden internacional, mostrando un fenómeno de difusión del poder mundial. El país asiático ha desplegado una serie de acciones `fronteras afuera´ y su presencia en el Sur Global ha ido in crescendo con el paso del tiempo. Si bien los países de África Subsahariana no son cruciales en su estrategia de expansión, han ganado prioridad en el diseño de su política exterior y se presentan como uno de sus escenarios de acción en el marco de la Revolución 5.0 y la disputa por el liderazgo global. Asimismo, la dimensión tecnológica ganó un protagonismo indiscutido en el marco de la transición hegemónica global.
