Descripción
Sumario:This study aimed to present the costs that Brazil had to hold the XX World Cup Football FIFA. The canopy is the second largest sporting event, behind only the Olympics. The methodology includes procedures for bibliographic and documentary research to exploratory and descriptive goals for the qualitative and quantitative approach. The results show that the host city with the highest prediction was spending São Paulo and Porto Alegre less. Regarding the execution showed the largest investments to São Paulo, being higher than forecast and the lowest value was for Curitiba. Ascertained that Belo Horizonte, Cuiabá, Curitiba, Manaus, Natal, Recife, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador were able to perform their work with fewer resources than anticipated. To pay the highest value found for Sao Paulo, higher than the run, mainly due interest and other charges on loans purchased from third parties. The other cities were unable to afford the full value of the works, with Salvador closest to repay the expenses. The Urban Mobility function had the highest estimated expenditures, but at the time of execution higher expenses were allocated to Airports, and this is the function that showed the amounts paid. Finally it is possible to find the value predicted by Brazil to conduct this mega event was R $ 23,078,438,171.07, when performing the works there was an increase of over 500 million and the country still needs to pay more than 7 billion reais.
