| Sumario: | The new technological revolution and the digitization processes undertaken by companies and organizations have affected the demands in terms of technical and behavioral skills in work environments and bring new challenges to employability, especially for senior professionals. This article investigates the perception of managers about the technical and behavioral skills required of older professionals, aged 45 or over, who work in the financial market in private banks in Brazil. Interviews were conducted with executives from financial institutions, and the survey results indicate that executives understand that the development of behavioral skills becomes more relevant in relation to technical skills. The most required skills are cognitive flexibility (adaptability), continuous learning, technological literacy, communication and people management. |
