| Resumo: | Pedagogical practice is the teaching action, carried out with the intent to educate and guided by methodologies consistent with the pedagogical purpose. In this sense, the present study aimed to analyze the practices experienced in the daily life of the institution of Early Childhood Education, from the perspective of the pedagogical coordination, with reference to an Early Childhood Education Center located in the city of Sobral – Ceará. The methodology is based on a qualitative and descriptive investigation supported by documental analysis and by reports of experiences of pedagogical coordinators of early childhood education. The theoretical framework dialogues with the propositions of Barbosa (2006), Fochi (2015; 2023), Franco (2012; 2015), Oliveira-Formosinho (2019), Proença (2018), and Santiago and Neto (2016). The data indicate a relative distance between the actions of teachers of infants and young children and the guidelines of the documents that make up the public policy for early childhood education at the municipal level. |
