Descripción
Sumario:The article discusses the relationships between national curriculum policy, the state curriculum of Paraná, and the municipal curriculum of Pato Branco/PR. It focuses on curricular reforms initiated with the approval of the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC), the Curricular Reference of the State of Paraná: principles, rights, and guidelines, the Curriculum of the Paraná State Network (CREP), and finally, the Curricular Pedagogical Proposal (PPC) of Pato Branco. The objective was to analyze the PPC regarding the inclusion of local content in the curricular component History of the early years of elementary education. The qualitative approach to documentary research, based on the procedures of Discursive Textual Analysis (ATD), consisted of analyzing documents of curriculum policies at the national, state, and municipal levels, as well as other complementary documents. It was found that there was a lack of local content, understood as those included in the PPC beyond those established by the reference curricular documents of Paraná. The PPC was limited to presenting didactic guidelines based on the characterization of a new category of curricular prescription organization, the "Didactic Proposals," which may result in teaching superficially or inadequately deepened content of curricular components in relation to the social and cultural context of students.
