| Sumario: | This article is the result of a research work that aimed to rescue curricular memories of Santo André, municipality located int the Greater ABC Paulista Region of São Paulo. The study took place during debates and clashes held within this municipal education system in the context of discussions on the Common National Curricular Base (BNCC) throughout 2017. The article examines and discusses the continuities and discontinuities of curricular policies through analysis of official documents and interviews with teachers who worked between 2005 and 2016 in three different municipal administrations. Drawing on contributions from critical theories of curriculum, it is emphasized that curricular memories are public goods that must be preserved as a form of resistance to the attacks against democracy that are taking place in the current scenario of Brazilian educational policies. |
