Description
Summary:The development of this research uses the systematic review of the literature with the purpose of carrying out a theoretical and interpretative study on the spatial and temporal changes in the coastal zone of the coast of Ceará, observing the mutual and concomitant action of the factors dimensioned in various scales of action that interfere in sea level variation. Information was collected from works in two databases: CAPES and Scielo journals. The fi rst step consisted of taking advantage of previously conducted research, available on Google Scholar. The selection process followed preestablished procedures, with the fi nal objective of collecting qualitative information about the multi-scale action of the factors acting in the coastal zone of the State of Ceará, building schematizations resulting from the interpretations carried out after reading the research. These studies can help the various projects and plans underway in the coastal zone, providing more effective and rational attitudes.
