Resumo:Information literacy is an area that has always been concerned with the credibility of information, and today it is gaining more and more attention. Based on this context, the article presents research that seeks to link information literacy to media literacy. With the support of emerging curriculum, such as the one proposed by Unesco, pedagogical approaches for Elementary Education are presented, within the guidelines of the Common National Curricular Base (BNCC). It shows how it is possible to articulate the most common skills of the two literacy fields, and to relate them in applied works. The proposal can be a path for the development of autonomy in the face of the contemporary disinformation environment and responsible engagement in the new digital sphere, which requires the training of critical readers and ethical producers.
