Sumario:Curricular policies have shown concern about developing critical and creative thinking in mathematics in Basic Education. However, many of them do not include aspects related to how to monitor their development with students; and how to verify the potential of teaching materials for this purpose. This investigation sought to structure two evaluative matrices for critical and creative thinking in mathematics. The first aims to assist teachers in monitoring the development of each student; and the second focused on helping education professionals. A documentary analysis was adopted, a meta-synthesis based on a set of evaluation rubrics on the topic. Based on a systematic interpretation of the content of these rubrics, we proceeded with the structuring of two matrices that can be used as instruments by different actors in the educational scenario.
