Sumario:In this article, we have part of a research that intended to explore the use of young adult literature in mathematics classes. Our initial hypothesis was that literature is important for the development of teenagers, and that using it in mathematics teaching can bring several benefits. For this research, which was qualitative, virtual meetings were made with mathematics and portuguese teachers. The methodology used was Design Research and the analysis of the contributions from the teachers in the meetings is based on the Model of Argumentative Strategy. We analyze the contributions of the teachers about infinities that appear in the book The fault in our stars and present parts of the dialogues and the contributions analysis based on the ideas about how to work interdisciplinarity in mathematics classes.
