Sumario:This article investigates the period in which Raul Seixas (1945-1989) worked as a phonographic producer, at the CBS record label, between 1970 and 1973, and the way in which the experience in the position influenced the artistic habitus of the singer and composer. For this, an analysis is made of the functions and responsibilities assumed by him as a producer, the meaning of this position in the economic and cultural context of our phonographic industry and the characteristics of the artists and musical styles produced by him on the label. From there, advances in a better understanding of the dimension of the incidence of this work as an executive of a multinational, both in the singer's musical repertoire and in the direction of his professional career.
