| Resumo: | This paper considers the social memories concerned to the coup d'etat in Brazil, in 1964, specially in Belém, Pará state, in Amazon, through the perceptions of artists and students as the witness of this moment. Their memories reveal images of the city and disclosure the altered features of landscape: from peacefulness to terror and fear, contributing to the reflections regarding the relationship between the historical heritage and the symbolic annihilation of these groups. |
