Descripción
Sumario:Happiness is the most expected good for every person, beyond it is a subject that attracts many people, because it is increasingly associated with the work environment, since it is where people spend most of their time. Thus, is the article a study of scientific productionreview over happiness at work and aims to characterize happiness at work based on its concepts, predecessor elements and transversal themes. The research is descriptive and qualitative, using a systematic review in the following databases: Scopus, EBSCOand Web of Science to gather the information necessary to achieve to proposed objective. Twenty one articles were found about the theme, adherent to this research, with six concepts about happiness at work, that were divided in four categories: purpose, subjective well-being, job satisfaction and mentality, in addition to different transversal themes and predecessor elements. One of the gaps found with the present study is theamount of diversification that exists in relation to the way that happiness at work is studied, including the approaches used to study the theme, being that, three approacheswere observed by this study: studying the happiness at work from the changes on the meaning of work, from the evolution of the concept of happiness or from the evolution ofthe psychology, making it more easy to understand why there are so many different ways to study happiness at work today.
