| Sumario: | This paper aims to provide a diagnosis of logistics in Western Amazonia and its implications for the development of the state of Roraima. Initially, for better elucidate the basic knowledge about the logistics, make some preliminary considerations on this important tool for organizational management, seeking to highlight the main aspects of the subject. It is said about the logistics scenario Amazon, especially Amazon Ociental, comprising the states of Amazonas, Acre, Rondônia and Roraima, highlighting the most important aspects that influence the logistical components of this region. Highlights the importance that the Amazonian rivers exert as logistics corridors for the northern region.
