| Sumario: | One of the main characteristics of the Brazilian economy since the beginning of economic opening in the 1990s is the internationalization of the Brazilian economy. Agricultural productivity gains and increased foreign demand for agricultural commodities boosted the agricultural sector and Brazilian exports. In addition, this production expansion process is taking place in the Midwest region, which has greater logistical challenges. In this context, strategic logistical corridors are fundamental elements for the competitiveness of Brazilian products abroad. In addition, the implementation of these undertakings should result in economic gains in the regions where cargo transhipment occurs. This work intends to examine the Tapajós axis of the Northern logistics corridor with the objective of monitoring the actions implemented in partnership between the private and public sectors in the district of Miritituba - District of Itaituba. For this, the main documents and actions established from the minimum agenda, which was established between the private sector and the public power, will be examined. The research demonstrated that the establishment of an agenda was an important instrument for the generation of results aimed at development in the region. However, some aspects received little importance in the formulation process and the implementation of more structural actions were not carried out due to problems in the articulation between the actors involved and the inability of the public sector itself to promote institutional and legal actions for carrying out investments of the private sector itself. |
