| Sumario: | This research sought to verify what actions are taken by entrepreneurs when they are opening their own business, through the categories of praxis, practices and practitioners in the field of strategy as practice. For this, guided interviews were conducted with four entrepreneurs from Curitiba, Paraná. The analysis of the responses was carried out using the narrative analysis technique and the results indicated, in general, that entrepreneuring starts with the intention and movement of being the owner of the business, in an area with which the entrepreneur a certain affinity, with the elaboration of the business plan, mission statement, search for partnerships, as well as the development of basic actions in the classic areas of Administration - Finance, Marketing, Production and People Management. In this, the roles of entrepreneur and manager are mixed and confused. It is suggested that, in future research, other processes of creating new organizations be followed, from different regions, sectors and ages of enterprises. |
