| Sumario: | The objective of this study was to outline the profile of male perpetrators of domestic violence (MPDV) against women assisted in the Centers for Family Assistance and Authors of Domestic Violence (CFAADV) in the Federal District. Quantitative research was carried out through document analysis of 559 MPDV Reception Forms used between 2018 and 2019. The following predominant characteristics of MPDV were found blacks, with complete high school degrees, formal employment, drinking habits, psychological violence is the most perpetrated. The type of violence most perpetrated by HAV was psychological violence. There was no significant difference between black and white men in relation to the type of domestic violence committed. There was also no significant difference between violence and level of education. It is essential that the interventions proposed for MPDV consider the intersecctionalities and specificities that shape the complexity of violence against women. |
