| Sumario: | The media literacy involves the mastery of consumer’s knowledge, skills and attitudes in relation to content. In this context, the phenomenon contributes to the autonomy and development of critical capacity of citizens. This is an article that aims to analyze the dimensions of media literacy that are in operation in protests organized by fans of The Handmaid’s Tale. It is concluded that, from the plot fictional universe, avid viewers engage in favor of women’s rights and gender equality. |
