Sumario:We investigated the meanings attributed to #EleNão by the women participating in the mobilization of 29/09/2018, in Belém/PA. We analyzed: (a) 40 writings of posters and body paintings to reveal the subjects of the protest and their demands; and (b) 50 interviews with participants to understand motivations, perspectives of democracy and relationships with feminisms. We work with the notion of democracy materialized in a "way of life" dialogued with feminist aims from the Global South on the pluralization of the subject of feminism. From the analysis of the posters, we highlight the expansion of the subject of feminism and the association between feminist struggles and the position contrary to the candidate Bolsonaro. The results of the interviews point to the importance of popular participation in democracy and to the understanding of #EleNão as a way of building solidarity.
