Sumario:The research aims to analyze the use of sources by the newspapers Folha de S. Paulo and A Tarde during the coverage of the impeachment process of Dilma Rousseff considering seven days before three relevant moments of judgment in the Brazilian National Congress. As a methodology, it was adapted the verification of alignment, protagonists and antagonists, as well as the diversity of points of view, using the Value Added Journalistic (VAP) method. The use of the sources by the newspapers can be characterized as centered exclusively on "power" and very dependent on statements from official and hidden sources.
