Sumario:This research aimed formulate and prove some assumptions about the use of educational possibilities WhatsApp the application development of language capabilities in order to contribute in the process of teaching and learning. Procedure methodology wrapped examination of posts and interaction of students in two groups virtual formed from WhatsApp, as well as a questionnaire applied to the participants thereof. Research was performed in a state public school of são paulo capital whose members were the language teacher english school, author of this research and sixty high school students. The allowed data supplied to conclude that the application WhatsApp, when used for planned way and organized by professor, mediator of interaction, constitutes is a tool rica for by means of reciprocal relations, each of contacting the content studied in class learn more, organize and routine school supplant barriers communication.
