Sumario:There is no doubt in saying that the years of military dictatorship, especially in its toughest phase, between 1964 and 1974, had a striking effect not only in the political sphere, but also in the literary one. The aesthetics fictional narrative used in the period, taken from the journalistic narrative, appeared as a revisit of naturalistic values, given the strong connection with reality in its themes and in the narrative form, descriptive and cold, fruit of a narrator who intended to be just an observer of the real world. Ruben Fonseca, recognized both by the Academy and by the general public, is the object of this article. This article aims, in the following pages, at analyzing his tale Livro de Ocorrências under the bias of the dry language of aesthetics aforementioned, besides the raw hyperviolence that exists in hypermodern big cities.
