| Sumario: | The present dissertation examines the reception and socialization provided to second generation of Bolivian children in in preschools of São Paulo. Through an interdisciplinary approach, which combines bibliographical and ethnography research, this work was divided into three strands. The first one aims to contextualize concepts concerning the migratory phenomenon; the second explores the current legislation on educational rights, at the same time that seeks to clarify relevant matters surrounding the regular attendance in early childhood education; the third is devoted to presentation and analysis of results o results obtained from survey data from enrollment records and interviews with parents and educators. The research has demonstrated the existence of prejudice and discriminatory, which hinder the construction of an inclusive, democratic and libertarian public childhood education. This indicates the urgency in implementing training activities that support the educational practices. This indicates the urgency in the implementation of formative actions that support the educational practices involving immigrants. |
