| Sumario: | This text aims to present and describe the Open Science policies and the Manuscript Submission and Evaluation Method of the REAMEC Journal. These policies reflect the journal's commitment to the modus operandi of Open Science, covering, among other aspects, open peer review, open access, open data, preprints, and open source, as well as citizen science. Starting in 2024, the REAMEC Journal will implement Open Science as its new modus operandi to foster, design, conduct, and communicate scientific research. Furthermore, the journal commits to DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility) principles in its structure and editorial operation, and to FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles, ensuring that research data are findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable. These policies are aligned with the guidelines of the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO Brazil), reflecting REAMEC Journal's commitment to integrity, transparency, and innovation in the field of Science and Mathematics Education, and to promoting greater transparency in the evaluation process of submitted manuscripts. The Open Science Editorial Policies and the Manuscript Submission and Evaluation Method, presented in this editorial, mark a new phase of the REAMEC Journal in scientific communication. |
