| Resumo: | The participation of women in social struggles ensured the implementation of public policies and implemented basic social and economic rights. Recently, the struggle of rural women has expanded its agenda, in defense of territories and common goods. This notion encompasses a new vision on rural housing, which dialogues with sanitation and agroecology actions. Considering this context, this article addresses the achievements of women in the struggle for land in Brazil and explains the challenges for the construction of rural housing in Goiás, together with the role of women. Even in a period of political and economic obscurantism, in terms of public policies and social inclusion, the struggle of rural women remains active. |
