Sumario:The research work presented addresses a reflection on the body education of apprentices in the Breaking style, present in the cultural manifestation of Hip-Hop, as an artistic-pedagogical tool focused on the development of theoretical-practical classes aimed at beginners. The study aimed to foster the teaching of Breaking through ten basic sequences and discuss the creation of movement strategies that expand and innovate these initial structures taught in Breaking classes. The construction of the basic sequences were organized in a gradual evolution format. We had as interlocutors who contribute to the teaching of Arts Silvano (2018), Rengel (2017) and Lima (2011), among others who endorse this partially exemplified discussion, in a videographic way in the ten sequences developed. Even considering that Break is still crossed by discriminatory looks in the contemporary context, the study emphasizes that the instruction procedures of the proposed sequences favor the learning of the basic foundations of this style and open paths to stimulate creativity and authenticity in the ways of dancing of those who experience this culture.
