Sumario:The general objective is to analyze the incubation practices developed by the La Salle University Incubator of Solidary Enterprises from 2009 to 2016, through the conceptual lens of social memory, solidarity economy and strategy as a practice. The methodology for incubating solidary economic enterprises was developed by a multidisciplinary team and designs advice for solid waste cooperatives in the municipalities of Canoas, Nova Santa Rita and Esteio, RS, Brazil. With funding from FAPERGS, this ongoing study presents some results about the research on screen. The method used for this research is qualitative and explanatory, with an ethnographic bias. For data collection, documents from the incubator, participant observation and semi-structured interviews were used. Thematic content analysis is employed in the study. Reflections point out that the performance in the incubation area is fundamental in making a strategy for strengthening urban solid waste cooperatives in a more solidary manner through technical support procedures for the management of the cooperatives and systematization of actions, with memory as an element standout.
