| Resumo: | With this article we aim to highlight aspects of the trajectory of educational studies until the creation of the Faculty of Education at USP and discuss the insertion of women in Brazilian higher education. For this purpose, we took as privileged sources the interviews carried out with two teachers who had their history of intellectual and teacher education linked to that unit, occupying a prominent role in the Brazilian educational field, as well as in teaching and management, since both occupied the position of college principals. Thus, through their memoirs, it was intended to retrieve a set of relevant information about the institutional history and how the experiences of these women-teachers were impacted by it. |
