Descripción
Sumario:In this study, 74 samples of galenicals used in treatment for obesity were analysed. The authors intended to identify benzodiazepines and anoretics compounds in those formulations. However such compounds are controlled according to regulatory procedures, they have been employed in many formulations without any statement on label. Thin-Iayer chromatography and UV-spectrophotometry were selected as analytical methods. Botanical species were examinated and identified by microscopy and thin-layer chromatography. Benzodiazepines and anoretics substances were found in 50 per cent of the samples.
