Sumario:Since the quarrel on The Positivist Dispute in Germany Sociology, Positivismusstreit, it is possible to establish the relation between the epistemological foundations and normative ethics. The critical rationalism, advocated by Karl Popper and Hans Albert, and critical theory of Theodor Adorno and Jürgen Habermas confirm to reject the epistemological relativism. However, departing from different perspectives. The critical rationalism, has a core research intolerance, through the political ideologies based on dogmatism of pseudoscientific theories. On the other hand, the critical theory, by the method of negative dialectics, demonstrates the formations of political ideologies through the public sphere association with the economic mode of production of late capitalism, responsible for the depoliticization of the public sphere. The critical rationalism based on the situational logic, pure deductive method, that turns the science into a neutral and objective one. This method founded on the critical tradition of the principle of falsifiability would be responsible for the progress of the social sciences, because it would distinguish the intolerant dogmatism science, of ideologies that generate violent acts in politics. Notwithstanding, for Adorno, the principle of falsifiability creates the instrumentalization of the reason, as the objective judgment of the socio-historical totality is sold to the subjective value of the market and the sale of labor power. These characteristics, according to Habermas, compose the bourgeois ideology that equips the public sphere, making the political power parallel to the economic production system. Therefore, a new hermeneutics of critical rationalism to answer criticism of Adorno and Habermas is required. The new hermeneutc perspective is a relation between the epistemological foundations of science and ethics, developed by Mariano Artigas and Paulo Eduardo Oliveira, to establish a moral principle reasons for the operation of science.
