| Sumario: | The urgent demand for remote educational activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic incites strategic thought and effective actions that impact basic and higher education. Based on an experience report, this paper presents expectations, challenges, and solutions for preparing, implementing, and assessing a remote extension activity on writing in Spanish, offered to undergraduate students of Spanish from the Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS). The teachers/researchers involved assess the action as satisfactory, as it motivated written production and interaction between students, although there were obstacles that led to some adaptation of the course regarding the use of technological resources (such as choosing the platforms for synchronous and asynchronous activities) and pedagogical actions (such as selecting the teaching materials, adapting the duration of the classes and the amount of homework, and proposing more interactive exercises). This work is relevant regarding understanding the course proposal and the specificities of remote education, and it contributes to disseminating actions that promote effective and well-established relations between teaching, research, and extension. |
