Resumo:The intention of this article is to reflect on the female role in Sacred Scripture and in the Church. For this, the pericope entitled the sinner of the evangelist Luke, chapter 7, verses 36 to 50, is used as a resource. What we want to show are relevant aspects of the change of mentality proposed by Jesus regarding the presence of women in the ecclesiastical environment. Still, based on this focus, it is intended to briefly present traits of discipleship of equals, which must be recovered today. Jesus' dialogue with the woman who appears unnamed in the Lucan gospel is found in the section called Ministry of Jesus in Galilee (4.14-9.50). This begins with the narrative in Nazareth and ends with Lessons on Humility and Tolerance. Finally, it is convenient to say that the text assumes an analysis from the perspective of feminist hermeneutics.
